Overview — Privacy

X Lend Finance Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal and credit information in accordance with Australia's privacy and credit reporting laws. By signing this document or continuing with your application, you consent to the collection, use and exchange of your information as outlined.

We collect information to assist with:

• Consumer or commercial credit for personal or business purposes
• Guarantor applications
• Insurance sourcing
• Managing your application and related services

If you do not provide this information, we may be unable to assist with your application.

Information Use and Disclosure

We may:

• Disclose your identification details to credit reporting bodies (CRBs)
• Use CRB data to assess your application
• Disclose your details to insurers
• Share your credit information with credit providers to submit applications on your behalf

We only use or disclose your information where legally permitted, or with your consent.

Credit Providers

When we act on behalf of a credit provider, we are bound by the same privacy obligations. We may submit applications to multiple providers. Those providers may exchange your data with CRBs to:

• Assess your application or guarantee
• Notify of defaults or serious credit infringements
• Fulfil legal disclosure requirements

Each lender's website includes their privacy and credit reporting policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access or correct personal information we hold about you
• Request our privacy policy in print or electronic format
• Ask CRBs not to use your data for direct marketing or pre-screening
• Be notified if you are subject to fraud

Electronic Communication Consent (ECC)

By giving your consent:

• You acknowledge you may no longer receive paper copies
• You agree to check electronic communications regularly
• You may withdraw consent at any time

You authorise X Lend to deliver Credit Guides, assessments, contracts and required notices, and other relevant documents, via electronic methods (e.g. email). You also authorise X Lend to accept instructions you send electronically.

Providing Information About Others

If you give us personal information about someone else (e.g. a referee or guarantor), you confirm that you have informed them of this document and how their information may be used.

Disclosure and Consent

By signing or proceeding with your application, you agree we may:

• Assess your credit and/or guarantor application
• Source finance and/or insurance on your behalf
• Disclose your personal or credit information to relevant credit providers, insurers, or contractors
• Use your data to offer related products or services unless you opt out
• Share your data with service providers (e.g. IT, legal, marketing, printing)
• Share your information with any potential business acquirer of X Lend

You also agree to CRBs sharing your information with:

• Credit providers for application assessment
• Guarantors or prospective guarantors for risk evaluation
• Other credit providers for lawful purposes

Complaints

Authorisation

You authorise us to obtain credit reports from CRBs on your behalf. This authorisation remains valid until we cease acting on your behalf.
